Just like last year, the Pacers are off to a fast start, thanks to the fast kids from Lake Cities XC.

9-year old Payton Brown (on the right)  ran a 20:40 to set a new girls 7-9 age-group record which is faster than the boys.  It also scores a 105.3 on the Pacer scale, making it a national level effort.  The only other higher score recorded was that of Mary Knisely - 105.8, when she ran a 16:05 at 27 in 1987. Emily Field's 104.8 score last year is the only other score over 104.
