April 2007 Race Report : The Spring Scamper 3K, 8K and Jr. 1K

Tommy Smith was the winner in the 3K. Sheila Natho got the win on the women's side.

Chris Hayes won the men's 8K.  Frances McKissick had a big improvement to win the women’s 8K.

Pre-Race And they're off!
Sheila Natho broke the 40-44 age-group for the 3K by 1 sec. Frances McKissick just turned 45 and easily broke the 8K 45-49 record.
Susan Sams lowered the 3K 60-64 record she set in last December. 
She also leads in the Annual Participation Awards standings.
Mary Ann Miller set the 8K record for the 70 and up group.
Mike Fields and Bob Abbott.  Bob also lowered the 60-64 8K record he set in 2005. Michael Held and Boston teammate Gary Wilson.  Gary was today's bib yeller.
James Royal also ran well in Boston for Team Pacers.
 Along with Ruben Saguil, the team was 36th out of 78 Masters Men teams.
